HISTORY: 
 

De ACCORDEONTHEEK (English Name: the ACCORDIONARY) opened its doors                                                                        
13 november 1993 in the Oude Gracht 27 in Alkmaar (The Netherlands)

The focus was to create a meeting place for anyone interested in the Accordion,
Diatonic Accordion, Concertina and Bandoneon.

There was also the sale of the above-mentioned instruments, as well as the Accessories,
the Parts, the Gadgets and Music Books, Reference books etc.

At the same time owner Christiaan Duinmeijer started an Accordion School for beginners
and players who wanted to improve their skills.

The success grew and after 2 years the decision was made to move to a larger store,     
in the Oosterburgstraat nr. 17 in Alkmaar (The Netherlands).

Not only the Store was popular in the Netherlands, but also across the border.
Customers from other countries like Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Turkey,
Japan, USA and Skandinvien found their way to Alkmaar.

To expand the activities on the Scandinavian market the decision was taken
to move our store to Centrumvägen 26 in Åsarp (Sweden) on 13 July 2011.
